PISTONS 109, BOBCATS 94: Rodney Stuckey scored 29 points and Greg Monroe had 19 points and a career-high 20 rebounds as host Detroit rolled past woeful Charlotte.

Detroit's Tayshaun Prince also had a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds and Brandon Knight scored 14 of his 20 points in the second quarter.

Charlotte (4-29), with by far the worst record in the league, has lost 19 of 20 and is 2-17 on the road.

Corey Maggette, who was diagnosed with inflammation in his right knee during the break, had 17 points. Reggie Williams scored 14 on 6-of-7 shooting. Gerald Henderson, who missed nine games with a strained hamstring, had 13 and D.J. White scored 15.

The Bobcats trailed just 24-23 after the first quarter, but Knight scored 14 in the second quarter as the Pistons opened up a 58-43 lead. That quickly became 21 behind Monroe and Prince, and the Bobcats were sent to another reeling loss.

Wallace capped a sensational night with his 20th board late in the fourth quarter, making him the first Piston to reach the plateau since Ben Wallace back on Jan. 15, 2010.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Detroit outrebounded the Bobcats 55-38, but was just 1 of 10 on 3-pointers. ... Charlotte center Bismack Biyombo left in the second quarter with a strained shoulder. Assistant coach Stephen Silas also was feeling ill and left the bench in the second quarter. ... After scoring just 68 points in a 97-68 loss to Philadelphia on Tuesday, the Pistons set a season-high with 58 by halftime and eclipsed Tuesday's total five minutes into the third quarter.... Maggette was originally thought to have a torn meniscus, which would have required season-ending surgery.
