GRIZZLIES 104, WARRIORS 103: Tony Allen’s tip-in with five seconds remaining capped a wild finish Saturday as Memphis continued its dominance of Golden State with a sixth straight home win in the series.

Rudy Gay scored 19 points, O.J. Mayo had 18 and Marc Gasol finished with 17 points and 13 rebounds to help the Grizzlies (18-14) win their fourth in a row overall.

Stephen Curry did his best to carry the Warriors (11-17), finishing with 36 points on six 3-pointers. Monta Ellis added 33 points while making four 3-pointers and dishing out six assists.

The two teams traded the lead eight times over the final two minutes.

Ellis nailed a 3-pointer for the 101-100 edge before Gay made a 12-foot jumper on the other end to regain the lead at 102-101 with 41 seconds to play. Gay then stole the ball from Curry and was fouled, but he missed both free throws.

Ekpe Udoh was fouled while grabbing Gay’s second miss, hitting two free throws to give the Warriors a 103-102 edge with 28 seconds remaining. Following a timeout, Gay came up empty on a jumper, but Allen was there to finish at the rim for the game-winner.

David Lee was called for a charge on the game’s final sequence as the Grizzlies escaped.

Marreese Speights had 16 points and eight rebounds and Mike Conley added 15 points for Memphis, which held a 45-31 rebounding margin.

The Grizzlies jumped out to an early lead thanks to some hot shooting. They connected on 14 of 20 shots in the first quarter for a 34-19 lead, with Speights accounting for 10 of the points.

Golden State roared back with 14 unanswered points during a stretch in the second. Curry poured in 11 points during the spurt, hitting three 3-pointers and a long jumper.

Curry later gave the Warriors their first lead at 43-42 on a 3-pointer. Their lead swelled to as many as eight before taking a 56-54 advantage into halftime.
