Recap

David Lee scored 15 of his 28 points in the decisive third quarter as the Golden State Warriors snapped a seven-game losing streak against Phoenix with a 102-96 victory over the visiting Suns on Monday.

Nate Robinson scored nine of his 11 points in the fourth quarter and Monta Ellis added 18 points despite 5-for-20 shooting as the Warriors erased a 12-point deficit by closing the third period with a 25-10 run to win their third straight. Lee added 12 rebounds.

Marcin Gortat had 25 points and 12 rebounds for the Suns, who were playing the first of three games in three nights. It was Gortat's first double-double in five games after recording one in 15 straight contests. Steve Nash had 14 assists.

Robinson's 3-pointer with 5:43 remaining gave Golden State a 94-84 lead. Phoenix fought back to make it a three-point game before Ekpe Udoh's soft left-handed hook gave the Warriors a 96-91 lead with 35 seconds left.

Golden State's Stephen Curry, who missed nine games this season with an ankle injury, left Monday's game with 1:23 left in the third quarter after appearing to twist his ankle. He returned with 3:00 remaining.

Lee's dunk with 1:43 to go in the third gave Golden State its first lead since the opening period, and one it would not relinquish.

Phoenix took a 27-20 lead after one quarter on the strength of 60 percent shooting from the field and seven assists from Nash. Grant Hill scored five points and hounded Ellis into 0-for-8 shooting from the field.

Ellis missed his first 11 shots from the field before making a 3-pointer with 1:59 remaining in the first half.

The Suns, who had their three-game road winning streak snapped, had also won 11 of the last 12 meetings with the Warriors.
