Recap
Tony Parker scored 16 of his season-high 42 points in the third quarter and set a San Antonio franchise milestone for assists as the host Spurs cruised to a 106-97 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday night.
A third-quarter assist gave Parker 4,475 for his career, moving him past Avery Johnson for top spot in Spurs franchise history. He finished with nine helpers on the night as the Spurs improved to 13-1 at home.
Kawhi Leonard added 15 points and Tim Duncan chipped in with 13 points and 15 rebounds for the victors.
Kevin Durant paced the Thunder with 22 points, 11 rebounds and four blocked shots.
Parker's 16 first-half points led the Spurs to a 57-47 advantage, and he picked up where he left off at the start of the second half. The French point guard scored eight straight San Antonio points on an array of mid-range jumpers as the Spurs opened up a 15-point lead, and he repeated the feat later in the quarter to fuel an 88-70 advantage entering the fourth.
Oklahoma City closed to within 10 but couldn't get any closer as it dropped its fourth straight game in San Antonio.
