Recap

Brandon Rush scored 15 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter as the Golden State Warriors surged for a 93-90 victory over the host Sacramento Kings on Tuesday.

David Lee and Dorell Wright added 15 points apiece for the Warriors.

With Monta Ellis and Stephen Curry struggling to a combined 15 points on 6-of-24 shooting, Golden State turned to Rush and the rest of its bench in the fourth quarter.

The Warriors trailed, 68-67, at the start of the fourth when Rush began to go off. The veteran sharpshooter drained a 17-foot jumper and a 3-pointer to give Golden State the lead and spark a 9-0 run.

Rush hit another from 27 feet with 5:03 left to push the lead to 83-72 and banged home his third 3-pointer of the quarter with 3:28 left, keeping the Warriors clear at 88-76.

The Kings recovered to pull back within 91-90 on Isaiah Thomas’ third 3-pointer in the final 2:45 but Rush knocked down two free throws with 2.2 seconds left to seal it.

Tyreke Evans collected 21 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists for Sacramento, which has dropped five straight.
