Andre Miller had a game-high 28 points and 10 assists to lead the Denver Nuggets to a 108-104 victory in overtime over the host Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday.
Miller hit a jump shot with 42.9 seconds remaining in overtime to put the Nuggets up by two, part of a 6-0 run to close out the game.
Denver's Chris Andersen fouled out with 11:23 remaining in the fourth quarter. The Sixers capitalized on his absence with a 13-0 run to get back in the game, erasing a 10-point deficit.
Thaddeus Young was the top scorer for the 76ers with 22 points. Evan Turner added 20 points and 11 rebounds.
Sixers starting center Spencer Hawes did not play due to an Achilles' strain.
It was the first loss suffered at home this season for Philadelphia, which had won nine of its last ten overall coming in.
Denver is now 2-0 on its five-game road trip and improved to 8-3 in January.
