Kyrie Irving had 25 points and seven assists and the Cavaliers erased a 14-point, third-quarter deficit to win at Charlotte 102-94 on Monday.

The Bobcats held a 94-93 lead on a short D.J. Augustin, but went scoreless over the game’s final 2:11 to lose for the seventh time in their last eight games.

Augustin had 24 points and eight assists, but scored just five points in the second half. Gerald Henderson had 17 points and Kemba Walker had 14 for Charlotte.

The Bobcats erupted for 34 points in the second quarter before the Cavs’ defense tightened, limiting them to just 37 points in the second half.

Irving and Anderson Varejao combined to score nine of the Cavs’ 11 points in the final minutes. Varejao finished with 14 points and 12 rebounds, his seventh consecutive games with double-digit rebounds, and Antawn Jamison had 20 points and seven rebounds.

The Cavs went 3-4 on their season-high seven-game road trip.
