Danny Granger collected 24 points and 10 rebounds and Roy Hibbert added 16 and 10 as the Indiana Pacers stayed alive in the Eastern Conference playoffs with an 89-84 victory over the visiting Chicago Bulls on Saturday.

The Pacers led by as many as 18 points in the second half but got a scare when the Bulls used with a 13-1 run to make things interesting at the end, pulling within 85-84 with 15.3 seconds left.

Granger hit four free throws in the final seconds and Chicago could not do any better than a 3-point attempt by Carlos Boozer with a chance to tie.

Indiana will head back to Chicago for Game 5 on Tuesday trailing 3-1 in the series.

The Pacers prevailed with defense, holding the Bulls to 39 percent shooting and keeping Derrick Rose off the free throw line. The Chicago star finished with 15 points on 6-of-22 shooting and attempted just four free throws after averaging 16.3 in the first three games.

Indiana took control in the second quarter, closing with a 17-3 burst to take a 49-33 lead into the break. The Pacers forced 11 turnovers in the first half, turning them into 18 points while limiting Chicago’s transition attack.
