Recap
Hakim Warrick came off the bench for 18 points and 11 rebounds and Steve Nash chipped in 18 points and five assists as the Phoenix Suns bounced back from a season-opening loss with a 110-94 victory over the Utah Jazz on Thursday.
Goran Dragic was a game-time decision with a left knee injury but looked just fine in 15 minutes off the bench, adding 11 points and six assist for the Suns. Jason Richardson poured in 18 points, Channing Frye finished with 14 and Grant Hill added nine points and 12 rebounds.
Phoenix controlled the game from the start, leading the whole time and pushing it to as much as 18 points at the start of the third quarter. The Jazz looked like they had a run in them when they cut the lead to 84-74 at the beginning of the fourth quarter, but Warrick scored five straight points and Dragic added a free throw to extend the lead again.
After being outscored 31-11 in the fourth quarter of a loss on Tuesday, the Suns did not let up against the Jazz, winning the fourth quarter 26-22.
Paul Milsap finished with 19 points and 13 rebounds for the Jazz, who fell to 0-2.
