Recap
Deron Williams finished with 24 points and 10 assists and Al Jefferson added 15 points and 10 rebounds as the Utah Jazz earned their fourth consecutive come-from-behind victory, 90-86, over the Atlanta Hawks on Friday.
Andrei Kirilenko chipped in 14 points and 12 boards and C. J. Miles had 13 points off the bench for the Jazz, who have overcome double-digit deficits in the second half of each of their last four wins.
The Hawks held a 74-63 lead after Josh Powell knocked down a pair of free throws early in the fourth quarter but the Jazz fought back, using a 15-4 run to forge a 78-78 tie on Kirilenko’s 3-pointer with 6:43 to play.
Atlanta took another lead as Joe Johnson knocked down a jumper from the right wing and Mike Bibby found Marvin Williams for a layup to push it back to 82-78 at the 5:22 mark. But Utah did not quit, tying it again at 86-86 on Williams’ jumper at the 1:56 mark and taking its first lead of the second half on Paul Millsap’s jumper 36 seconds later.
Williams knocked down a pair of free throws with 6.4 seconds left to lock it up.
Johnson led the way with 23 points and Josh Smith collected 20 points and 13 rebounds for Atlanta.
