Recap
Newly signed Garrett Temple drained two 3-pointers during a fourth-quarter surge and Carlos Delfino chipped in a trio of shots from the arc in the final 12 minutes as the Milwaukee Bucks rallied for a 98-90 victory Wednesday over the Atlanta Hawks, who had their six-game road winning streak snapped.
Corey Maggette scored 22 points and Earl Boykins 18 for the Bucks, who used a 17-2 run in the final period to overcome an 11-point deficit.
The 6-5 Temple, who just joined the club from the D-League and played in just three games with San Antonio earlier this season, drilled two shots from the arc during the decisive spurt that provided the Bucks an 86-78 lead with just over four minutes to play. He finished with eight points and three rebounds in 16 minutes.
Delfino, who connected from the arc earlier in the quarter and added a second during the spurt, drained his third triple with 2:29 left after Atlanta had closed within three.
The Hawks, trying to match their longest road win streak since the 1968-69 season, got 17 points, 10 rebounds and five assists from Al Horford, who had missed the previous two games with an ankle sprain.
Jamal Crawford added 20 off the bench and Marvin Williams had seven points and five rebounds in 13 minutes, his first action since injuring his back three weeks ago.
