Recap

The Washington Wizards remained winless on the road with Wednesday's 100-87 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, who got 23 points from Keyon Dooling and 21 from Corey Maggette.

Earl Boykins chipped in 19 points off the bench for the Bucks, who shot 48 percent from the floor in snapping a three-game slide. The Wizards fell to 0-20 on the road.

The Wizards shot out to a 27-19 lead after the first quarter and carried a 49-47 edge into the half behind 15 points from Andray Blatche. But Washington could not keep up its offensive pace after the break and struggled on the defensive end, allowing Milwaukee to score the first eight points of the third quarter and grab the lead.

The Wizards battled back to go up, 60-59, on JaVale McGee’s jumper with 6:20 left before Dooling drained a 3-pointer to spark a 16-6 run closing the frame.

A 12-2 burst early in the fourth quarter stretched the margin it out to 88-72, and Washington could not recover.

Blatche had 23 points and seven rebounds for the Wizards.
