Recap
Monta Ellis had 32 points and 10 assists and David Lee added 22 points and 14 rebounds as the Golden State Warriors beat the injury-ravaged Cleveland Cavaliers 116-98 on Friday.
It was the 14th double-double of the season for Lee, who shot 10 of 16 from the floor and added five assists. Dorell Wright had 20 points and Stephen Curry added 15 for the Warriors, who won their second straight.
Antawn Jamison had 21 points for the Cavs, who played without starters Anderson Varejao, Daniel Gibson and Anthony Parker because of injuries.
J.J. Hickson had 17 points and nine rebounds off the bench, while Manny Harris had 16 points and 10 rebounds, and Mo Williams added 16 points. The Cavs have lost nine in a row and 19 of their last 20. They haven’t won on the road since Nov. 9.
The Warriors’ 21-point lead was sliced to 10 on a layup by Ramon Sessions early in the fourth quarter, but the Cavs managed just one basket over the next 3 ½ minutes as the Warriors maintained control.
