Lou Williams scored 25 points and hit the go-ahead 3-pointer to lead the Philadelphia 76ers to a 95-94 victory over the visiting Milwaukee Bucks on Friday.
Williams connected on the shot from long distance with 43.2 seconds left for what would stand as the final points of the game.
The Bucks had two chances to win the contest in the waning moments. Andre Iguodala blocked Corey Maggette’s shot with just over four seconds left and Earl Boykins missed a 3-pointer with two ticks remaining.
Elton Brand and Iguodala added 15 points apiece for Philadelphia (16-23), which shot 57.1 percent from the field. Iguodala also had seven assists and six rebounds to go with his 15 points and late defensive heroics.
Corey Maggette led Milwaukee (14-23) with 16 points, while Ersan Ilyasova added 14 points. Andrew Bogut finished with 10 points and 12 rebounds.
