Recap

Indians 7, Twins 6 (10):
Drew Stubbs capped a four-hit night with a walk-off RBI double as host Cleveland won its fifth straight in dramatic fashion.

Stubbs, who had three doubles and a single, drove a 1-0 pitch from Casey Fien (1-2) off the wall in left-center to score Mike Aviles from second base. Aviles led off the frame with a base hit and moved up on a sacrifice bunt.

Chris Perez (1-0) stranded a pair of runners in the top of the 10th and got the win for the Indians, who have scored 46 runs during the five-game surge. Starter Justin Masterson gave up five runs in 6 2/3 innings while Jason Kipnis had four RBIs.

Kipnis had a two-run triple and Mark Reynolds clubbed a two-run homer as Cleveland built a 5-3 lead through six innings, but Minnesota rallied to take the lead on Ryan Doumit's RBI single and a two-run shot by Chris Parmelee in the seventh.

Kipnis picked up his final RBI on a grounder to second in the eighth, helping to force extra innings. Fien struck out two in a perfect ninth but surrendered the hit to Aviles on a 2-0 pitch and saw Stubbs set off a wild celebration as the Indians pulled back to .500.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Cleveland's winning streak is its longest since a seven-gamer that ended exactly two years ago. ... Twins starter Pedro Hernandez was charged with five runs on eight hits and four walks in 5 1/3 innings. ... Aviles had three hits and scored two runs.
