Red Sox 7, Indians 2: Mike Napoli belted a pair of doubles and knocked in three runs in the second inning as visiting Boston scored all of its runs in the frame en route to its fourth straight victory.

Jacoby Ellsbury also had an RBI single and Pedro Ciriaco contributed a sacrifice fly in the second for the Red Sox. Boston starter Felix Doubront (1-0) allowed two runs on four hits over five innings and struck out seven to gain the victory.

The teams lined up on the first and third base lines for a moment of silence before the game to honor the victims of Monday’s bombings in Boston, and flags were flown at half-mast at Progressive Field.

Cleveland starter Ubaldo Jimenez (0-2) walked five in the second inning, two with the bases loaded, and allowed seven runs on two hits over 1 2/3 frames. Napoli, who also led off the inning with the two-base hit, capped the rally with a three-run double off reliever Cody Allen that hit the left-center field wall to give the Red Sox a 7-0 lead.

Indians manager Terry Francona, who led the Boston to two World Series titles in eight years at the helm, faced his former team for the first time since being fired at the end of the 2011 season. Former Red Sox infielder Mike Aviles had a sacrifice fly in the second for Cleveland.
