Diamondbacks 5, Rockies 1:
Patrick Corbin pitched a three-hitter for his first complete game to shut down host Colorado and join Randy Johnson as the only left-handers in Arizona history to start 7-0.

Corbin allowed one run and struck out a career-high 10 while throwing 74 of his 97 pitches for strikes. Rookie Didi Gregorius had three hits and two RBIs while A.J. Pollock and Eric Chavez added three hits apiece as the Diamondbacks recorded 16 in winning for the fifth time in six games.

Colorado's Jon Garland (3-5) allowed five runs and 11 hits in six innings in losing his third straight start and fifth in the last six outings. Jordan Pacheco recorded an RBI double for the Rockies, who scored 31 runs while taking three of four games from San Francisco over the weekend at Coors Field.

Paul Goldschmidt and Chavez delivered one-out singles in the third inning as the Diamondbacks took a 3-0 lead. Gregorius drove in Pollock with a two-out double in the fourth and his two-out single in the sixth also plated Pollock.

The Rockies had two baserunners prior to the eighth inning on Eric Young's walk to lead off the first and Troy Tulowitzki's single in the fourth. Rookie Nolan Arenado doubled into the left-field corner with one out in the eighth and two batters later, Pacheco delivered a bloop double down the left-field line.
