Orioles 6, Dodgers 1:
Manny Machado and Chris Davis homered and Wei-Yin Chen tossed six strong innings as Baltimore completed a doubleheader sweep of visiting Los Angeles.

Chen (1-2) allowed one run on three hits for Baltimore, which rallied with two runs in the eighth to win the first game 7-5. Machado had three hits and four RBIs in the nightcap, including a three-run homer in the sixth to put the Orioles ahead 6-1. Tommy Hunter worked three scoreless innings in relief for his first save.

Davis tied the game at one in the second with a solo homer off Josh Beckett (0-3), who allowed six runs over 5 2/3 innings. The Orioles added two runs in the fifth on RBI doubles by Machado and Adam Jones.

Nick Punto and Jerry Hairston Jr. had two hits apiece for the Dodgers, who have lost six in a row and seven of their last eight games. The bottom four batters in the Los Angeles order – Andre Ethier, A.J. Ellis, Juan Uribe and Luis Cruz – went a combined 1-for-13.

Davis had four hits in the doubleheader for the Orioles, who have won a franchise-record 99 consecutive regular season games when leading after seven innings. His second-inning homer in the nightcap traveled 448 feet, tied for the 11th-longest home run in Camden Yards history.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Orioles held a pregame ceremony to honor Hall of Fame manager Earl Weaver, who died over the winter.
