Angels 4, Mariners 2: Kendrys Morales and Mark Trumbo each homered and C.J. Wilson pitched six solid innings as visiting Los Angeles won its sixth straight game.

Morales had three hits and two RBIs and Wilson gave up one run and two hits as the Angels completed a four-game sweep of Seattle.

Wilson (6-4) struck out five and walked two before exiting at the start of the seventh. The left-hander warmed up prior to the inning before coming out because of a blister on his pitching hand.

Scott Downs pitched the ninth for his fifth save.

Morales staked the Angels to a 1-0 lead in the first with a two-out single. He made it 2-0 in the fourth when he hit an 0-2 pitch from Hector Noesi (2-6) an estimated 420 feet over the right-center field wall.

Seattle got on the board in the bottom of the fourth, when Jesus Montero doubled with two outs and scored on Justin Smoak’s single. The Mariners’ only other hit was a two-out single by Smoak in the ninth.

Trumbo smashed a long homer to left on an 0-2 pitch in the seventh to make it 3-1.

The Mariners pulled within a run in the bottom of the inning when Montero walked against Jordan Walden, moved to second on a wild pitch and third on a groundout before scoring on another wild pitch.

Morales doubled in the ninth and scored on Howie Kendrick’s sacrifice fly.

Noesi allowed three runs and five hits in eight innings.
