Brewers 3, Dodgers 2: Aramis Ramirez returned from injury to homer and drive in two runs as visiting Milwaukee took the opener of a four-game series despite collecting only four hits.

Rickie Weeks also had an RBI and Shaun Marcum tossed seven strong innings for the Brewers, who won for just the fourth time in 13 road games.

Ramirez, who missed two contests with a bruised left elbow, erased a 1-0 deficit with a leadoff home run in the fourth inning. He then gave Milwaukee the lead in the sixth, delivering a single that plated Norichika Aoki.

Weeks lifted a sacrifice fly two batters later for a 3-1 advantage.

Marcum (3-3) rebounded nicely from his worst outing of the season on Tuesday, allowing one run and six hits with two walks and a season-high nine strikeouts. The right-hander, who improved to 3-0 lifetime against the Dodgers, has yielded three earned runs or less in nine of his 10 starts this year.

John Axford worked around a walk in the ninth for his eighth save in nine opportunities.

Aaron Harang (3-3) surrendered three runs - one earned - over five innings en route to just his second loss in nine outings.

Andre Ethier went 2-for-4 with his National League-leading 42nd RBI for the Dodgers, who fell to 14-4 in their last 18 at home.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Milwaukee C Jonathan Lucroy is expected to be sidelined for 4-6 weeks with a broken right hand. Lucroy, who leads the team with a .345 batting average, was hurt when a suitcase landed on his hand in his hotel room on Sunday. He was batting .388 in the month of May. ... Los Angeles C A.J. Ellis, who went 1-for-4, has reached safely in 36 of the 38 games in which he has played this season. ... The Dodgers placed LH Ted Lilly, who was scheduled to start Tuesday, on the 15-day disabled list with shoulder inflammation and recalled LH Michael Antonini from Triple-A Albuquerque for Monday's game only. Antonini will be sent back to the minors and Nathan Eovaldi will be brought up to start Tuesday. ... Dodgers OF Matt Kemp, who is expected to be activated from the DL on Tuesday, went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer in his second rehab game with Albuquerque on Monday. Kemp was 2-for-3 with a blast and three RBIs on Sunday.
