Recap

Brewers 10, Astros 1: Aramis Ramirez went 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs while Yovani Gallardo tossed seven strong innings as host Milwaukee handed Houston its 13th loss in 14 games.

Ramirez opened the scoring in the first inning with an RBI single before launching a three-run homer in the third that gave the Brewers a 5-1 lead. Corey Hart added a three-run shot of his own two innings later to extend the advantage.

It was more than enough offensive support for Gallardo (9-8), who has won nine consecutive starts against Houston. The right-hander, who allowed one run and three hits with a walk and five strikeouts, improved to 12-2 lifetime against the Astros.

Pinch hitter Nyjer Morgan delivered a two-run single in the eighth to cap the scoring for Milwaukee, which won for just the third time in 12 games.

Dallas Keuchel (1-4) lost his fourth straight start, yielding seven runs on seven hits and six walks in just four innings. The rookie fell to 0-3 in four road outings.

Chris Snyder homered and All-Star Jose Altuve recorded two of the five hits by the Astros, who have lost 27 of their last 30 contests.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Ramirez's homer was his 13th of the year while Hart belted his 20th. ... Milwaukee LF Ryan Braun returned to the lineup after missing Monday's series opener with blisters on his left hand. Braun went 1-for-2 with a stolen base and two runs scored. ... Keuchel has surrendered a total of 23 runs over 19 innings during his four-game losing streak. ... Brewers manager Ron Roenicke and bench coach Jerry Narron were ejected in the top of the ninth inning for arguing balls and strikes.
