Diamondbacks 8, Astros 2: Chris Young hit a three-run homer in a seven-run sixth inning and Josh Collmenter pitched six solid frames to help Arizona finish a three-game sweep of visiting Houston, which has lost six straight and 19 of 21.

Astros shortstop Marwin Gonzalez fielded the ball behind second base and flipped to second baseman Jose Altuve, who was unable to barehand the ball, allowing two runs to score.
Lyles (2-7) was charged with eight runs (five earned) on 10 hits in 5 2/3 innings. He has lost six of his last seven decisions and has allowed 13 home runs in 73 2/3 innings.
