The Pirates pulled within 2-1 on Pedro Alvarez’s sacrifice fly in the fourth but Cincinnati's Brandon Phillips singled home Cozart in the fifth to push it back to a two-run gap.

Pittsburgh has lost four of its past six. Correia gave up nine hits and five runs in seven innings, walking one and striking out three.
