San Diego took a 2-0 lead in the first on Chase Headley's RBI double and Hundley's sacrifice fly.
The Padres went ahead 4-1 in the third when Headley walked and scored on Hundley's triple. Headley came in after Yonder Alonso reached on first baseman Jim Thome's throwing error.
Hundley drove a 1-1 offering from Blanton into the left-center field seats for a two-run homer in the fifth.
Juan Pierre had three hits for Philadelphia.
