Recap

Marlins 7, Brewers 6 (10): Gaby Sanchez hit a game-tying home run with two outs in the ninth inning and Hanley Ramirez had an RBI single in the 10th as visiting Miami snapped a 10-game losing skid to Milwaukee.

Donovan Solano, playing in place of All-Star Giancarlo Stanton, ripped a two-out double in the 10th. Ramirez promptly plated Solano with a shot into center field off Manny Parra (0-3).

The victory capped what could be a very successful day for Miami, which was reportedly on the verge of acquiring first baseman Carlos Lee from the Houston Astros for promising third baseman Matt Dominguez and left-hander Rob Rasmussen.

Down to his last strike, Sanchez tied the game at 6-6 with a line-drive homer in the top of the ninth inning off closer John Axford. Axford blew his fifth save opportunity in 13 chances.

Logan Morrison belted a three-run homer and Justin Ruggiano went deep for the third straight contest for the Marlins, who snapped a six-game road losing skid and defeated the Brewers for the first time since Sept. 25, 2010.

Wade LeBlanc (1-0) picked up the win after yielding one hit in an inning. Heath Bell put Tuesday's horrific effort behind him, stranding a runner at second base to secure his 18th save.

Aramis Ramirez, who had the game-winning two-run homer in the 10th inning on Tuesday, snapped a 5-5 tie with an RBI single in the seventh.

Norichika Aoki highlighted a five-run second inning with an RBI single to extend his hitting streak to 11 games. Cesar Izturis added an RBI single and George Kottaras had a bases-loaded walk for the Brewers, who failed in their bid for the season-high fifth straight victory.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Stanton missed his second straight game with a sore knee. Stanton said that he is aiming for a return Friday versus St. Louis. ... Brett Hayes' RBI was just his second of the season.
