Lopez and Choo had three RBIs apiece and Cabrera drove in two as the Indians scored three runs and sent eight men to the plate in each of the fourth and fifth innings. Marson scored three runs.

Chris Davis hit a three-run homer for the Orioles, who lost for the eighth time in 11 games.

Baltimore’s Dana Eveland (0-1) allowed five runs and six hits in 3 2/3 innings in his second start of the season. Orioles reliever Tommy Hunter allowed five runs and eight hits in 1 2/3 innings.

Cabrera and Lopez provided run-scoring hits in the fourth inning to help Cleveland take a 5-1 lead. After Davis’ blast brought the Orioles to within 5-4 in the bottom half, Shoo, Cabrera and Lopez had RBI hits in the fifth.

Duncan’s homer came in the sixth and Shoo, who is 8-for-13 in the series, added an RBI single later in the inning.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Orioles acquired Jim Thome from the Philadelphia Phillies on Saturday for a pair of minor leaguers – right-handed pitcher Kyle Simon and catcher Gabriel Lino. … The Indians recalled infielder Jason Donald from Triple-A Columbus to replace third baseman Lonnie Chisenhall, who was put on the disabled list Saturday. Chisenhall broke his right forearm when he was hit by a pitch Friday and is expected to be out 4-to-6 weeks. … Cleveland catcher Carlos Santana has missed the last three games (back), but is expected to play Sunday. … The Orioles honored former manager and Hall of Famer Earl Weaver before the game when they unveiled a sculpture of him at Camden Yards. Weaver, who managed the Orioles to four American League pennants and the 1970 World Series title, threw out the first pitch, which was caught by current skipper Buck Showalter.
