Recap

Orioles 6, Blue Jays 4: Nolan Reimold’s two-run home run in the ninth capped a come-from-behind win as visiting Baltimore stole another game from Toronto in the late innings.

Reimold broke a 4-4 tie with a blast to deep left field off Francisco Cordero (0-1) in the top of the ninth, his second homer of the series.

Wilson Betemit, who had a game-winning two-run single in the eighth inning Friday, tied the score with a two-out solo home run to right field in the eighth.

Baltimore's Chris Davis sent a two-run homer into the right-field seats in the top of the fourth.

Orioles starter Jason Hammel lasted five innings, allowing two runs on six hits while striking out three batters. Luis Ayala (1-0), one of four Orioles relievers, picked up the win.

Adam Lind sparked Toronto's sixth-inning rally with a double to left. He came around to score on a sacrifice fly from Eric Thames. Two batters later, with runners at first and second, Colby Rasmus drove home the go-ahead run on a single up the middle.

Rasmus finished 3-for-4 with two RBIs.

Kelly Johnson hit a solo home run for the second straight game, putting the Blue Jays on the board with a big fly to left in the first.

Henderson Alvarez settled in after some early control issues, giving up three runs on six hits and tossing just 97 pitches over seven innings. Toronto’s bullpen fell apart for the second straight contest, giving up three runs on three hits – two for home runs.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
