Ryan Spilborghs had an RBI double to highlight a three-run fourth inning as the Colorado Rockies handed the San Diego Padres their ninth straight setback with a 5-4 road triumph on Saturday.

Troy Tulowitzki continued his torrid play at Petco Park by going 2-for-4 with an RBI single in the fifth inning. Tulowitzki is 14-for-32 while playing in San Diego this season.

Dexter Fowler had three hits and scored twice and Carlos Gonzalez and Todd Helton added RBI singles for Colorado, which improved to 9-5 against its National League West rival this season.

Alex White (1-1) picked up the win after allowing four runs on five hits in five innings. He was making his third start since joining the Rockies in a deadline-day deal that sent Ubaldo Jimenez to the Cleveland Indians.

Three relievers bridged the gap to Rafael Betancourt, who retired the side in order in the ninth inning for his sixth save.

Will Venable homered and Jesus Guzman ripped a two-run double for San Diego, which hasn't won since posting a 7-5 triumph over the San Francisco Giants on Aug. 23.

Cory Luebke (5-8) fell for the fifth time in seven decisions after permitting five runs on eight hits in 4 1/3 innings.
