Recap

Ryan Braun and Jonathan Lucroy combined to drive in seven runs, helping Milwaukee cap a three-game weekend sweep with a 9-6 home win over Pittsburgh on Sunday afternoon.

Braun hit a three-run homer in the first inning and added an RBI triple in the second to help the Brewers to an early 6-0 lead. The Pirates came back in the top of the fifth, with Neil Walker's solo home run sparking a five-run inning, but Lucroy, who had doubled home a run in the third, hit a two-run shot in the bottom of the fifth to stretch Milwaukee's lead to three.

Pittsburgh opened the ninth with three straight base hits against John Axford, the last an RBI single by Ronny Cedeno, then loaded the bases with one out to bring the go-ahead run to the plate before Jose Tabata grounded into a double play to end it.

Zack Greinke (2-1) got the win despite allowing five runs in five innings. He scattered six hits, striking out five while walking one. Kevin Correia (5-4) lasted just four innings for the Pirates, surrendering six runs on eight hits.

Lucroy is 9-for-18 with nine RBIs in his last five games for the Brewers.
