Recap

Michael Bourn and Clint Barmes drove in three runs apiece, and J.A. Happ snapped a two-month losing streak as the host Houston Astros beat the Washington Nationals 7-6 on Tuesday night.

Happ (4-11) won for the first time since May 14 despite allowing five runs over 5 2/3 innings.

Nationals starter Jordan Zimmermann (6-8) allowed six runs over five innings. He gave up Barmes' two-run homer in the first and a two-run double to Bourn as part of a four-run fourth. Barmes started the uprising and gave the Astros a 3-2 lead with an RBI single.

Bourn's RBI single in the sixth made it 7-5.

Mike Morse and Jerry Hairston Jr. hit two-run homers for the Nationals, who had a four-game winning streak against Houston snapped.
