Recap

Prince Fielder added to his National League RBI lead with a two-run homer as the the host Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Minnesota Twins for the sixth consecutive time, 11-1 on Saturday.

The Brewers improved their NL-best home record to 28-11 and ensured they will win the 10th of 13 home series this season. The Twins have lost four straight after they won a season-high eight in a row.

Fielder has 67 RBIs as Milwaukee opened up a two-game lead on St. Louis in the NL Central.

Yovani Gallardo (9-4) pitched seven innings, allowed one run and struck out six in winning for the first time since June 4, the last of six consecutive wins for the righthander.

Ryan Braun went 1-for-3 to extend his hitting streak to 16 games, Carlos Gomez added a two-run homer and Yuniesky Betancourt had an inside-the-park homer in the fifth.

Delmon Young misplayed Betancourt's fly ball to left and injured his right ankle as he crashed into the wall. While Young was lying on the warning track holding his leg, the ball bounded toward the left-field corner, and by the time center fielder Ben Revere retrieved it, Betancourt was rounding third.

Young was carried off on a stretcher and the injury initially appeared to be severe, but was diagnosed as a sprain.

The Brewers roughed up Twins starter Francisco Liriano (4-7), knocking him out in the fourth inning - his third start this season that lasted four innings or less.
