Recap

Halladay (1-0), the reigning National League Cy Young Award winner, struck out seven and walked one while allowing six hits.
Wilson Valdez went 4-for-4 with three RBIs and Placido Polanco drove in four runs, as the Phillies scored 21 runs on 32 hits to take the final two games after the Mets won the series opener.
Polanco, who had eight RBIs in the series, singled in a run in the third and capped a four-run fourth inning with a two-run for a 6-0 lead.
Valdez added a two-run double in the fifth and Raul Ibanez drilled a two-run homer in the seventh to make it 10-0.
New York starter Jon Niese (0-1) was raked for six runs on eight hits in four innings. He struck out seven and walked one.
