The support made a winner out of Miguel Batista (4-2), who allowed two runs and six hits over six innings.
Clay Hensley (2-6) only lasted two innings for the Marlins. He allowed four runs on two hits and walked two.
Emilio Bonifacio went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs for Florida. The Marlins tried to rally in the ninth and scored three times, but Bobby Parnell got Greg Dobbs to line out to end the game.
