Recap

Wilson Ramos and Michael Morse hit home runs to support a combined four-hitter from four Washington pitchers in a 3-0 win over the Atlanta Braves at Nationals Park on Sunday.

The loss trimmed Atlanta's lead in the National League wild-card race to one game over the St. Louis Cardinals, who defeated the Chicago Cubs later Sunday.

Ramos hit his 14th homer and Morse slammed his 29th to deep right field as the Nationals won the rubber game of their final home series of the year.

Ross Detwiler (4-5) allowed six hits and struck out four in six innings and pitched out of a bases-loaded, none-out jam in the third.

Detwiler was followed by Henry Rodriguez, Tyler Clippard and Drew Storen, who each pitched one inning and combined to strike out six and allow no hits over the final three innings. Storen earned his 42nd save.

Mike Minor (5-3) was the losing pitcher, giving up one run in 4 2/3 innings with five strikeouts.
