Recap

Martin Prado delivered an RBI single in the bottom of the 11th inning as the Atlanta Braves continued their late-inning heroics with a 2-1 victory over the San Francisco Giants on Tuesday.

It was Atlanta's major league-leading 22nd victory in its final at-bat.

With one out in the 11th, pinch-hitter Brooks Conrad sliced a ground-rule double down the right field line. Conrad moved to third on Michael Bourn's groundout and scored on Prado's line drive between first and second.

The Braves have won all five meetings with the Giants this year - three in their final at-bat. They won Monday's series opener 5-4 on Freddie Freeman's two-run single in the ninth.

Atlanta increased its wild card lead to six games over San Francisco, which fell 3 1/2 games behind Arizona in the National League West.

Braves rookie Randall Delgado didn't allow a hit until Cody Ross' home run to lead off the seventh. Delgado, making his second major league start, struck out four and walked one before leaving after Ross' blast.

Giants starter Jonathan Sanchez left with two outs in the third after spraining his left ankle. Sanchez rolled the ankle fielding a bunt by Delgado. He threw one pitch to the next batter before limping to the clubhouse.

The Braves had a chance to win in the 10th when Dan Uggla and Freeman hit consecutive singles to start the inning. But Freeman rounded first a bit too far, and right fielder Brandon Belt threw behind him to pick him off. After an intentional walk to Chipper Jones, Alex Gonzalez grounded into an inning-ending double play.
