Recap

John McDonald drove in Rajai Davis with a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 14th inning as the Toronto Blue Jays beat Seattle 6-5 on Tuesday night to send the Mariners to their 10th straight loss.

Davis single-handedly gutted the Mariners in the 14th. The speedy outfielder reached on a one-out single off Jamey Wright (2-3) before proceeding to steal second and third base, his second and third swipes of the game.

McDonald's fly ball to center easily scored Davis as Toronto halted a two-game losing skid.

Casey Janssen (3-0) pitched a scoreless 14th inning.

Adam Lind homered for Toronto, while Brendan Ryan and Greg Halman went deep for the Mariners, who are in the throes of their longest losing streak since September 2008.

Toronto lefthander Brett Cecil went seven innings and allowed five runs - all in the first two innings - on nine hits.

Seattle counterpart Michael Pineda was charged with five runs on seven hits over 6 1/3 innings and struck out six. The towering rookie has surrendered 12 runs in his last 11 1/3 innings, which has ballooned his ERA from 2.58 to 3.24.
