Recap
Troy Tulowitzki scored from first on a two-out single by Ty Wigginton in the 13th inning to give the Colorado Rockies a 3-2 walkoff victory over the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday.
Wigginton blooped a 3-2 offering from Will Ohman (0-1) into shallow center field. Running on the pitch, Tulowitzki motored home as Brent Lillibridge was slow getting to the ball to give the Rockies their first extra-inning win of the season.
Seth Smith drove in a pair of runs and Rex Brothers (1-0) notched his first career victory with a perfect 13th as Colorado has won five of its last six at home.
After Smith tied the game in the fourth with a two-out RBI single, Chicago left fielder Juan Pierre made a diving catch to rob Wigginton and prevent further damage.
Pierre, who had three hits, gave the White Sox a 2-1 lead in the fifth with a double for only his second RBI in 12 games.
Chicago's Gavin Floyd and Colorado's Jason Hammel each allowed two runs, six hits and two walks in seven innings. Neither recorded a strikeout.
Alexei Ramirez homered for Chicago, which has lost three of four.
