Recap

Carlos Gonzalez homered twice and drove in four runs while Dexter Fowler added two triples and three RBIs as the Colorado Rockies cruised to a 10-5 triumph over the Los Angeles Dodgers Sunday.

Starting pitcher Jason Hammel went 2-for-3 with an RBI and Ryan Spilborghs also homered for the Rockies, who have won six of their last seven games.

With Colorado already ahead thanks to Chris Iannetta's RBI double in the second, Gonzalez belted a two-out solo homer in the third for a 2-0 lead.  The 24-year old completed his second multi-homer game of the season with a two-run blast - his 29th - in the fourth that capped a five-run rally and gave the Rockies a 7-0 bulge.

Spilborghs swatted a solo homer in the fifth and Fowler, who hit a two-run triple in the fourth, plated another run in the eighth with his second three-base hit of the day and major league-leading 12th of the season.  Gonzalez completed the scoring by plating Fowler with a sacrifice fly.

Hammel (9-7), who had an RBI single in the fourth, posted just his second win in his last nine starts.  The 27-year old improved to 7-1 at home by allowing two runs and seven hits with three walks and seven strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings.

Ted Lilly (8-9) suffered his first loss as a Dodger since being acquired from the Chicago Cubs on July 31, surrendering seven runs and nine hits in just four innings.  The left-hander, who fell to 5-1 in six starts with Los Angeles, walked one and struck out eight.

Ryan Theriot collected two hits and two RBIs while Matt Kempt went 3-for-4 and scored a run for Los Angeles, which has lost two straight following a four-game winning streak.
