Recap

Brandon Morrow pitched into the seventh inning and John Buck hit a three-run double as the Toronto Blue Jays completed a three-game sweep Sunday with a 5-2 win over the Texas Rangers.

Morrow (3-3) rebounded nicely from his previous outing, when he lasted just 1 2/3 innings. The hard-throwing righty allowed eight hits in six-plus innings Sunday, walking one and striking out eight.

Buck's bases-clearing double in the fourth inning brought home the go-ahead runs. Umpires originally thought the ball may have hit the facing of the first deck for a grand slam, but replays confirmed it bounced off the top of the wall in right-center.

Jose Bautista added some insurance in the sixth with a solo home run, his 10th of the campaign and third in his past two games.

Alex Gonzalez chipped in a run-scoring single for the Jays, who have won four straight and 13 of their past 17 games. Kevin Gregg pitched the ninth for his 11th save.

Rangers starter Colby Lewis (3-2) was tagged for five runs on three hits and four walks in just 5 2/3 innings of work.

Matt Treanor brought home a run with a sacrifice fly in the second inning and the other Texas run scored on a Vladimir Guerrero double play in the seventh.
