Every week Heritage Sports picks a game that allows you too cancel your bet up until and including halftime on spread wagers only. Anyone try this yet? The max they will cancel is $250, seems to me pick a side wager $250 and unless it is dominating at halftime, just cancel the wager.

If they're picking the game...and it's only one game over the whole weekend, I'm not really seeing the play.
It would be cool if they picked a conference each week and let you pick one of the 5-6 games from that conference instead. Big hassle though as far as people cancelling wagers.

Seems too easy right? What am I missing?
It is legitimate, but they rarely offer this promotion. And even if you have no clue which side to bet on, the ideal scenario would be to have the side that is doing well at halftime and blindly hedge some or all on the other side.
And unless you are looking good, obviously cancel the bet and get a better line with the same team with the second half line if you still want to bet on them.
It seems easy because they seem to pick a game that comes down to the late 4th quarter. If you have money in your account, with the opportunity to hedge or cancel, you would be foolish not to take advantage of this promotion. Just think, you could have $250 riding on team A, and if looking good, another $250 on team B in the second half. Then the worst you could do is lose juice, but you could end up winning $500.
But once again, you must have the correct side at halftime that gives you a hedging opportunity.
