thanks for your thoughts G.J. Kinne was good, but the QB coming in this year is massive black kid who can run and throw!! They are favored against Iowa state for a reason!!

I have to agree with JD here. You're kind of all over the place logic wise here. You count UCF as a win even though that will obviously be a coin flip. Same thing with playing @SMU. Then you count Iowa St as a loss(not a coin flip) even though tulsa is favored on the road. Sorry, doesn't compute.

it sounds a little absurd to say UCF is a lock and use the fact that they're favored against ISU as a justification, when you don't even at least have the ISU game as a toss up

@ Iowa State LOSS Tulane WIN Nichols State WIN Fresno State TOSS UP @ UAB TOSS UP @ Marshall TOSS UP UTEP WIN Rice WIN Arkansas LOSS @ Houston TOSS UP UCF TOSS UP @SMU TOSS UP
I only see 4 guaranteed wins on the schedule for the 'Hurricanes. alot will have to go right for them to see 8-4. 6-6 is more realistic with who they have coming back.

Wish OSU woulda put us on the schedule this year, would love to get back at them after they embarrased us last year, Guess Tulsa got too good for OSU as a non conference opponent!

How Cody Green performs in his first game as TU's quarterback is huge.
"I'm not laying awake at night worrying about our quarterback position," said Tulsa coach Bill Blankenship.
Part of that is Tulsa grew into a terrific running team a year ago and developed a core group of receivers. Green will have help.
"I like that we've surrounded our quarterback with a lot of talented skill guys," said Blankenship. "These guys can help the quarterback grow."
Green, a transfer from Nebraska, does bring big-game experience with him. He played significant minutes for the Huskers in Big 12 games.
Playing at Iowa State will not be a big deal for him. He's been there. Done that.
"He's played at the Big 12 level in some big stadiums," said Blankenship. "I don't think there will be anything too big for him in terms of the emotional side."

He is a senior and a beast! If nebraska wanted him, he is probably a taylor martinez type of QB!! Dont know what Blakenship was talking about in that quote.

Tulsa will struggle this week for a couple of reason. One is their best WR got hurt which is a huge loss for Tulsa. Also Tulane is not as horrible as they usually are. They were able to move the ball against a decent Rutgers team and defense and could have won that game. The line is extremely fishy because Tulane has been so bad for so long but Tulsa is down this year because of the loss of their skill position players from last year. Its hard to know what to expect since Tulane is on the road but the score against Rutgers was misleading as Tulane had their chances to win that game and Tulsa losing that WR really hurts that offense as they dont have that reliable running game to fall back on this year. I just cant see Tulsa putting up 40 plus points which is what is going to take to cover a line like 25.
