A top caliber Capper once taught me that if you are going to make money betting on Pre-season NFL. "Was to know all your QB's and know them well". Noted, and I have capped this way ever since.
Tonight features some interesting matchups. At first glance we see a stacked Panthers squad that demands attention from all positions. But the same goes for the Texans as well. This game is tough to cap because both sides have very decent backup QB's and very decent WR/RB's. The Panthers look to be the better bet but I like the backup QB's better for the Texans. TJ Yates and John Beck are very good QB's, and they played at an NFL level even in College. It's tough to say how well they will play tonight so it's a guesstimation at best. But I have to say that with the level they prepared for in College that is translates over into the NFL. We shall see

The Hawks have one of the best coaches at the helm IMO to lead this team. Pete Carrol is a man's man.....and He knows how to lead men. Most coaches can teach and coach and know the game but leading men takes a different approach. Parcells was the best man'man coach I have ever seen when he was coaching. Constantly getting the best out of his players. The Hawks had a very decent year last season despite the pack of nobodies they had on their roster and with TJ at QB its uncanny how they had the record they did. But as stated thats what great coaches can get from their players. If we are going with the QB angle here I would say that the Hawks have the angle here for sure. Matt Flynn, TJ, Portis, and Russell Wilson? I mean c'mon. these are proven studs in college that will IMO have no trouble transitioning into the pro level. I am most looking forward to watching Wilson play. As I feel with his speed and legs and rocket arm will play his ass off for that 2nd or 3rd QB spot.

So as you can see I am playing mostly the QB angles here, and ones I feel give me the best shot at a win/cover. GL to everyone tonight
