Here are your early contenders. Though I'm rooting for a TC, I think there's some serious value once you get past UR, Dullahan & Paynter. My early feel is they are each bigtime pretenders when it comes to this distance.

He sure did. What does that have to do with the 12 furlongs that will be run on June 9th?

It's a bit of a reach but I agree, he doesn't look impossible and he will more than likely be sitting right behind Paynter.

Like I said to begin this thread, if you can get past Paynter, UR & Dullahan the payoffs will be beautiful. Just need to get creative with someone.
Rags & Dullahan will both be out of their elements on Saturday, Paynter is the only one who scares me with the early speed. Especially with all the talk about training Guitierrez to wait and wait and wait. You wait to long and all of the sudden they went 1:15 and you're spinning your wheels trying to make ground up on an Empire Maker.

Trust me. Rags should hit the board. Not because the horse is outstanding, it is just that the rest of the field once you get past I'll have another and Dullahan, and maybe Paynter your just looking at a bunch of glorified allowance horses.
Rags may not like the distance but this is a genuine grade 1 horse and that can't be said of the rest of the field. Rags has ran 4 grade one races and only finished out of the money once. That was the Kentucky derby were the horse closed from 13 to 7th and was squezed out and pulled back by the jockey.
The horse may not win but is a very strong canditate for 3rd or 4th. I would not leave this horse of my exotic tickets, triactor or super.
I am going for a triple crown myself, I have hit the triactor in the derby and preakness. I have mentioned 4 horse in this post, there is your triactor and super box. I don't usually give out picks but if you have not had luck in the big races, these are my suggestions, hopefully they hit again
Good luck to all.
