The only way they have a chance is if they run.

So looking more closely at this game...I think that the line is more or less correct, considering Bulls were -9.5 at home with Rose, -6.5 at home w/o Rose, and accounting for a 4 point home court advantage, should be around -2.5, so starting at -2 seems about right...

I've been looking at this game closely, as I am going heavy on the Sixers...
A lot has been made regarding the Bulls 18-9 record w/o Rose. A closer look at those wins reveals that the majority of those wins were vs. the trash of the league (Char, Clev, NJ, etc). I count 7 quality wins vs. current playoff teams. Of those 6 were at home, with only 1 win away. That was the game against Orlando (which I watched) in which Orlando simply didn't show up to play and scored something like 59 or 60 points.
I think the fact of the matter is that it is pretty much a game between role players right now, neither team has a bonafide superstar right now, and role players typically play better at home. I think that talent wise, w/o Rose, the two teams are pretty comparable now (I'd take Brand over Boozer, and Holliday over Watson/Lucas) and what we will end up seeing is the Bulls going cold from an offensive standpoint as they are all too prone to do, which will lead to Philly runouts, which will be the difference...
