Obviously I am a Wisconsin fan and had a wager on the Badgers. But oh my God, did anyone else have a problem with the officiating or was it just me?? Even the commentator made a reference how the refs weren't calling ANYTHING on Zeller. And there were calls where the Badger player didn't do a fucking thing and got called for a foul. More than several occasions. Obviously, I am happy they won, but these officials shouldn't be doing a game ever again... I don't know if it was the home crowd getting to them or what, but these calls were fuckin brutal....
I am not one to come on here and post this shit, but I felt this was the best place for me to vent and either take some heat or see if anyone else agreed...

Winning games like we did today where the refs were one sided only builds confidence for a team. The refs can be blamed in every single NCAA game that happens, but there are so many more things that cause a team to lose a game. Badgers looked really good today though, even with Taylor struggling.

Fair enough. I really was trying to be unbiased, but it was tough. Could even read Bo Ryan's lips towards the end saying, "He didn't even do anything." There were 3 or 4 instances like that. Just awful...

You are looking at this game through very Badger Red tinted glasses. I agree with the poster below you that said the officiating was bad all around. Honestly I thought that the officiating was worst on INDY than WISC as a whole. Everytime INDY got some momentum going the refs were calling a BS offensive foul call, waiving off baskets, etc. Now do I think it had an outcome on the game probably not because WISC simply was too hot from behind the arch. How about that BS offensive foul when the WISC defense was still moving up to take the charge at the time of the call? How about the floater that went in by WISC and the foul was called against INDY on the boxing out which game WISC two shots? I could go on and on but don't pretent that all the calls went against WISC.

I watched the whole game and didn't have a bet on it but the refs were bad for both sides. The NCAA needs to get the refs to understand that the small arc under the basket is there because the need to eliminate offesive fouls instead they are calling more charges than ever (approx 10 per game) this season in the college game. If your heel is in that arc line as a defender you cannot call a offensive foul on the driving player no matter how hard the defensive player gets crushed just like in the NBA. You see so many baskets disallowed this season then ever before because the refs don't have a clue as to what the arc line under the basket is there for.
