Arizona vs Atlanta- The Falcons lost a tough ot game in Pitt last week and if they don't win this week they are going to go 0-3 cause they face the Saints in New Orleans in week 3. I think the dirty birds know they need to win this game or they are in a likely 0-3 hole. Look for them to come out sharp and play like they are capable of playing. Falcons 27 Cards 16
Atlanta -6.5 3 's
Philly/Detroit- Well one of the Lions top players is out (stafford) and it always seems that a team steps up when a key player is missing. The Lions will be ready for Vick unlike the Pack who gameplanned for Kolb. Lions are pi$$ed about the Calvin catch controversy and the Lions fans will push their team to victory. Lions 20 Eagles 17
Detroit + 5 4 's
Balt/Cincy- Baltimore played their hearts out and left everything on the field last Monday night. Lewis played like he was 30 and he looked great. I've noticed the over the past 3-4 years that whenever Baltimore wins a tough and emotional game the next week they come out flat as hell. The Bengals started last weeks game bad and actually played ok in the 2nd half. Look for the Bengals to take advantage of a emotionally tired Baltimore team. Bengals 24 Ravens 20
Bengals +2 1
St. Louis/Oakland- Got a rookie qb entering the black hole. I believe the Raiders are a better team than they showed last week. Bradford will make enough mistakes this season and teams will capitalize even the Raiders. Oakland 23 St. Louis 10
Raiders -3.5 3 's
N.E./NY Jets- Well the Jets looked awful on Monday and Rex you know raised hell in practice all week. Last year the Jets beat the Pats in week 2 in NY and they know they can beat New England. I still think Moss is on Revis island and I don't think he's coming off this week. This will be a must watch game IMO. Tom squeaks one out but not covering the spread. Pats 21 Jets 20
Jets +3 3 's
NYG/Indy- This game is a battle of the brothers. How many times at home has a sibling rivalry squared off at home in the yard or on the court? Well chances are big brother always gets the last laugh. Giants secondary is bad and Peyton will chew them up!! I have two trends to support this pick and my next pick and I have 110% faith in my system. Colts 42 Giants 28
Indy -5 5 's
N.O./S.F.- Forget about week 1 and the Niners terrible performance. This will be the only defeat on the Saints record up until Thanksgiving. Two systems tell me the 49ers are the play and I'll even say they will win the game. My local has it at 6.5 so I'll gladly take the points. IgetMoney promise this wins or you won't see me in covers. I'm trying to help others beat the books and I want to help everybody get paid Niners 24 Saints 21

I like your card a lot.....may I inquire as to the trends you speak of? I have one for you on the Cincy game that supports your pick
Got 1 of the trends in a thread early this week. Try to remember off the top of my head since 1999 the defending SB champs in week 2 are 3-8 ATS in week 2 and the SB losers are 9-2 SU and 8 of the wins covered the spread. If this trend holds true it falls into my SNF/MNF trend where if the public wins on SNF they lose on MNF. Public is on Colts therefore public loses on MNF when they play the Saints hence my SF play.

look man i'm all for your trends but you aren't really leaving covers if san fran doesn't win right? i mean what the hell? why would you even say that? what do you win? do you want people to follow you blindly on the pick because of you're quote? how is that helping people on covers? i don't know you too well but that was just stupid. if you think san fran will win straight up just say so and support it with your trends that'll do, no need to say you'll leave covers if you lose one game

I have supreme confidence and whatever it takes to change a bettors play from New Orleans to SF is a success. I like to be bold and back up my talk. Dodn't use the L word or say the G word but Iike trying to help people win and I get joy out of beating the books.

I'm not locking up that they will win the game but with the points I am. Just to clerify GL to you

Well, I don't know. I like your plays though. Those first trends sound a bit weak but I do agree with the Sun/Mon thing.
In support of the Cincy play, play against any prevoius Monday night underdog who wins the game outright then the following Sunday goes on the road and is posted as the favorite.
This situation is very rare due to the NFL scheduling but in my years of experience has been very profitable.
Couple that up with the fact Cincy goes on the road the next two weeks and they believe this to be a must win game for them. Plus Balty left an awful lot on the field last week. They played like men posessed. Doubtful they bring it like that again.

you're correct i see that now but it's still saying you'll leave this forum that you want to help (and you are by being 7-3-2) all based on one game, any given sunday man. don't leave covers over one game you're 7-3-2 i'm 0-2 this year and went with bal and no, and had indy and sd last week, (all four were/are road favs, not a good way to invest money but were the games i liked best last week and this week)
bol to you too man and i hope you win even if it means i lose, just don't want to lose someone from this forum that's off to a good start when no one asked him to challenge himself in such a way

Likin the picks mang.. especially atlanta and the raiders.. i was likin atlanta earlier bc zona is on b2b roadie and playing a 1pm game which is 10 am to them and i think turner will keep that pile movin but its good to know also that atlanta plays in NO next week.. now im likin em to win this one even more.. as for the raiders i also think that loss last week is being overcompensated for and everyone is talking up bradford even though he threw 3 picks and keep in mind that the 1 td he threw came on 4th down right before half that they never would of gone for if it wasnt about to be half time.. GL with all the plays.. also considering indy but i always get worried to take indy since they r a public team but then again i love fading the giants (even though i bet nyg last week i never felt safe)

Wow! ...pointless post and a waste of space with the block quote, really. Guys, I hope you are actually backing up your picks with something noteworthy... you have some good points but if you're following some computer 'system' for your picks you are going to end up broke.
Hopefully the points you listed for why you like DET and NYJ.aren't what you are putting your money on... tread with caution people.

The Jets win last year at home, the Pats were without Wes Welker and Sanchez looked terrible in preseason and last week. If Jets didn't lose Jenkins again I probably would bet on them. He pushes the line and forces O-lines to double and triple team him. but without him Jets will bring more on blitzs and leave that rookie CB on single coverage again I am going with Brady and rookie CB on Welker. Moss will be on Revis island.
49ers have too much infighting for me to have any faith in. They can't win on the field if they have problems in the locker room.
Detriot hasn't "Stepped up" in 2 years, winning only 2 games in the last 2 years. Stafford out is huge. They only made one 1st down in the 2nd half when stafford went out.
I do like Bengals and Falcons to bounce back.
My opinion and I could be completely off But that is why they play the games.
