Jets were a pretty easy pick that game. Then the very next week, the Jets were gifted another amazing spot, catching the Jaguars a week after they go to London and beat down the Ravens, a major letdown spot with terrible travel. This is a horrible spot for the Jets. And yes, you need to take the look ahead game seriously with the Patriots on tap. Don't know how and why you could possibly discount that. The Jets know they aren't good and were gifted the last two games. Browns almost beat the Steelers week 1, then had to go to Baltimore in a tough spot and did not fare well (reasonable), then had to play back to back road games, against the Colts, while falling short, and then went back home and did not get up for the Bengals game. After being beaten down last week, they have to understand that this is one of the lone spots where they can get a win. Danny Shelton should be back (Their best DT by a mile) and Myles Garrett will be making his debut. Those two blue chippers will make a huge impact on the game on Sunday and without them, they have been lost on D. The Jets are trash, fools gold. Browns get their 1st win on Sunday and I think they do it pretty easily, while majority of the bettors will be burned once again in Jets games this year. (24-10 Browns)
In all due respect Papa, "I couldn't disagree with you any more... your not handicapping anything, not one stat to back up your 'opinion' and that's all I see here in this entire thread is opinionated projections, non-attached to any stats of value, or any handicapping form being initiated...
"you really can't take the Jets WINS seriously" really? why not?
"they caught the Dolphins in a 'spot'
"the Jets were 'gifted' and caught the Jaguars in a spot" another WIN (but don't take them seriously, they've now WON 2 in a row)
"the Browns 'almost' beat the Steelers in week #1" (almost only counts in horseshoes) basing anything on an almost WIN is outright ludicrous..when it comes to cappin' sports...
Danny Shelton & Myles Garrett, "will make a huge difference" really? (both are second string fillings)
"the Jets are trash, fools gold" bottom line, they're 2-2 this does not justify 'trash' (just another opinion) the Jets have covered in 3 out of 4. a far cry from 'fools gold' (another opinion)
The best for last; "The Browns get their first WIN on Sunday, and I think the do it pretty easily" Browns WIN 24-10
Okay Papa, if you say so...to each his own.
On the other side of the coin:
I would seriously recommend to just leave this game alone, their are numerous games available that have exceedingly more value, why waste your money on this PK matchup, However, if you must, and you're on the Jets PK -110 you have a (80%) WINNER, it's going to be ugly, but the NYJ prevail, leaving Cleveland with a 3-2 record...
Of notation, the Browns are averaging 12pts per game on their home field this season...the Browns have a grand total of 76 yards rushing this season (that comes to 18 YPG) need I say more? because that's only the tip of the iceberg, nothing favors a Browns lean in this spot, nor a WIN, 'nothing' Especially using the handicap advantage of "looking to next week VS. New England" you can flush that concept down the toilet, that's how much it's worth in this spot...you know, the more I think about this game, the closer I get to making a wager, and a call, so, one of my Sunday plays:
New York Jets PK -110 / 2.2units vs Cleveland Browns
