Don't get sucked in thinking Ms St is the side here. I think a lot of people just have 'last week's game' syndrome when it comes to this matchup.
I wasn't surprised MSST beat LSU, though I was surprised at the margin of victory. However, that LSU team lost a huge amount of talent, top level talent that were first rounders, high first rounders on both sides of the ball.
UGA still has their RB and their swarming defense. In fact, they have a two headed rush attack with Chubb and Michel
Also, this is a tough spot in St's schedule. While both teams will be up for this matchup as it is one of the televised games and is two ranked teams BUT...
Ms St is in the SEC West, UGA is in the East. Ms St plays most of their division games in the back end of their schedule. The 2 division games in the front half were last week's game and a road game at Auburn next week. So this is a very tough division sandwich road game in between.
UGA had a big win against ND and then got basically a week off for their letdown game against a cupcake last week. This FR QB might struggle in some big pressure games but here he's at home, and he can hand off to two stud RBs.
All this Ms St action is just a reaction to blowing out LSU, a team that has been underacheiving for years even WITH NFL level talent on the roster, and now doesn't have that talent level and is still working out their new offense and new defense because they switched coordinators on both sides of the ball within the last 2 years.
UGA has continuity everywhere but the QB and will be on high alert after seeing the scorline last week. I think they win by more than a FG today.

That was certainly a bad spot for Miss State and Georgia took full advantage of it. It'll be interesting to see whether UGA can play well on the road in SEC play.
