penguins are the only team to when switching goalies lose the game, especially being up 2-1 in the series, then game 5 up 2-0 in the 1st period, the bolts tie it up, pens come back and score at the end of the 2nd period, in the 3rd i knew it right away that bolts will tie it up and take it to OT, (not bragging but i knew it and put a live a wager in with i think 8 mintues left that the game finishes a tie in regulation +300) but i didnt think they would lose in OT esp right away, anyway now there going back to tampa, with there best goalie and best player out, they managed to beat the pens and if even the pens win game 6 for some reason just the way the bolts play, there so fast, so talented (hedman, johnson, droghn) wowwoowow so disciplined, a great coach i just think they get back to the stanley cup finals, the only thing is they wont have the power to keep up with the sharks, as i like the sharks to finally win a cup, but after what the pens did in the 1st and 2nd round to be down 3-2 going to tampa, even if the pens win i still think tampa wins game 7 in pitt, anyway i took pitt -130 in the beginning for $2000 risking $2600, im trying to figure out how to hedge out this bet i dont like it at all. Do i take TB @ +120 for $2000 if they lose then im down $2000 then game 7 @ pens, TB will prob be +180 or +200 for $1000, thats the only way i can hedge and only lose $1000 if pitt wins or win $1000 if TB wins, anyone can help me out on what scenarios i can play in the next 2 games?

You could also pick the other side of the series, -180 TB, $3600 for $2000. If TB win you break even, if they go to a game 7 pick TB ml for that game to cover the $1000 if TB wins.

I'm sorry I read that wrong it'd be $4680 for $2600 to cover your Pens series bet then if the Pens win bet the ML for them the next game to cover the TB series bet to break even, hope that makes sense. I'd bet the other side of the series first tho because if you bet TB this game and they lose, that's just more money needed to be made up in Game 7.

Actually re-reading that, DON'T do that, it made sense in my head but that won't work, I'm sorry. I'm sure there's a way but nothing that I can think of that will win either way or break even. If you put $3000 on TB to win the series you'd win a little over $1600, and be down around $350 total and if the Pens win you'd be down $400. If you really think the Pens have no chance that's better than loosing $2600. Then make it back in the Finals.

There is never really a good situation when you try to hedge out of a bet that has already moved against you
JayDubsJr has the best idea. Lightning Game 6 +125 and IF the Penguins WIN to stay alive then double up on Game 7 @ Pittsburgh which would probably be around a Lightning +175. with Lightning series odds now @ -185 up 3 games to 2 your screwed on using that. TOO much "juice"
