Playin, I agree with your post and absolutely agree that FSU, talent -wise, could crush Pitt. But the main factor in my opinion, is Jimbo Fisher. How will he coach Winston in his first college game, away, on a Monday night with the whole country watching? If he coaches conservatively, i.e. scared, then it could be a game. If he throws caution to the wind, FSU blows their doors in.
That's the main thing holding me back from laying some serious action on this one.

One extra note: FSU OL averages 318 per man. Pitt's DL averages 269....... a difference of 49 lbs. per matchup and Pitt's LB's are not that big

Playin, love the insight you are bringing to this discussion. I expressed my one main concern earlier, i.e. Jimbo playing conservatively on the road with a FR QB and going into potential deep freeze way too early. I agree with your response that if Winston is all that he is cracked up to be and earns Jimbo's trust, that Jimbo will feel comfortable keeping the pedal to the metal. I don't think Jimbo EVER really trusted EJ to open up the playbook fully in any of their close games.
My other concern, albeit a lesser one, is the D having miscues in their first live outing in this new hybrid scheme and leaving receivers wide open on occasion. Savage doesn't concern me much, but he does have a big arm and will make the Nole D pay if there miscommunication causes someone to squirt 10 yards into the clear.
